Adopt-A-Site

What is the Adopt-A-Site Program?
The program aims to engage and support people in caring for their Forest Preserves. Make a commitment to care for a preserve by picking up litter while setting a positive example to other Preserve users, encouraging them not to litter.

Commitment- site cleanup at least four times per year for a minimum of two years

Participants- Just about anyone can take part: individuals, families, civic groups, clubs, organizations, fraternities, and faith groups.

To support you, the Forest Preserve District will:
Install an adoption sign at the site
Provide necessary permits, safety information, and supplies
Offer ongoing access to knowledgeable staff as a resource
Collect and dispose of filled litter bags and other debris cleared from the adoption site
